This policy covers this website and the Founding Partner application. How shoppers' data is handled on merchants' stores is described on Privacy by design and in each merchant's own notice.

Who is responsible

[Company legal name], [Registered address]. Contact: privacy@trialhood.example.

What we collect on this website

  • Founding Partner applications and the launch waitlist: work email, store URL, number of frames, an optional note, and campaign tags (UTM) from the link you arrived by. We use them to contact you about the pilot and to prepare 3D models of frames from your public store. The waitlist stores only your email.
  • Usage statistics: none today. If we enable statistics they will be cookieless and aggregated, and we will say so here and on the subprocessors page.
  • Server logs: our hosting providers keep standard request logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security, for up to 30 days.
  • The try-on demo: processes your camera image in your browser only. Nothing is sent to us. See the biometric notice.

Legal bases

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on the steps you ask us to take before a contract (your application and the pilot), on our legitimate interest in running and securing this website, and on your consent for anything optional, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the providers listed on our subprocessor page, who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Applications: 12 months after the pilot decision, then deleted, unless you become a customer. Waitlist emails: until the launch email is sent and you have had the chance to unsubscribe, or sooner on request. Server logs: up to 30 days. Statistics: aggregated only, with no personal data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and complain to your data protection authority. To exercise any of these, write to the contact above; we answer within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity.

Objecting to analytics

No statistics tool runs on this website today, so there is nothing to object to. If that changes we will explain the choice here.

Changes

We update the date at the top of this page whenever the policy changes and tell applicants by email about changes that affect them.
